Vision

Volunteer

I have volunteered regularly for Indigenous service organizations across LA County and continue to volunteer when I am in my tribal community. I have also contributed regularly as a graduate student to my campus community.

Advocacy

In 2018 I was appointed by the Mayor to serve on the Los Angeles City/County Native American Indian Commission. I am committed to serving urban and rural Indigenous communities.

Higher Education

When I worked as an Academic Coordinator for the UCLA American Indian Studies Interdepartmental Program, we started the first-ever Native American and Pacific Islander Summer Intensive Transfer Experience with the Center for Community College Partnership.

Performance

I have developed artistic and performance collaboration with other Indigenous Artists. The video is from 2018 This is Bruin Life at the University of California, Los Angeles. The performance was developed with Kenneth Ramos (Kumeyaay). We explored what it means to be a guest on Tongva lands and how to acknowledge those relationships.

Media

I have experience speaking about representation and participating in collective media making.
